For this project, I was randomly assigned the author James Baldwin. I selected three of his most well-known works—Go Tell It on the Mountain, Giovanni’s Room, and The Fire Next Time—and redesigned their covers. The goal of the project was to reinterpret these texts through contemporary visual design, using typography, imagery, and layout to reflect their themes and cultural significance.
